Beth Wengerd Ohio Mutual's Personal Lines AVP

BUCYRUS, OH – Ohio Mutual Insurance Group has hired Beth Wengerd to serve as Assistant Vice President of Personal Lines Underwriting.
 
“Beth will be a key addition to our team,” said Ohio Mutual President and CEO Jim Kennedy.  “We are looking forward to the fresh perspective and energetic attitude she brings, and we believe her significant experience will well serve our company, our agents, and our policyholders.”
 
As Assistant Vice President of Personal Lines Underwriting, Wengerd will lead the company’s personal lines underwriting efforts, managing the underwriting team, and reporting to Executive Vice President Randy O’Conner.  Personal lines products generate the largest share of the company’s business volume and include automobile, homeowners, and umbrella products.
 
Wengerd comes to Ohio Mutual from Westfield Insurance, where she has held a variety of roles as an underwriter, and in business development, compliance, and sales. She holds a B.S. degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and currently resides in Wooster, where she actively contributes in a number of school, charitable, and church activities.
