Andrew Wallen Joins Ohio Mutual as Corporate Controller

BUCYRUS, OH – Ohio Mutual President & CEO Mark C. Russell announced today that Andrew M. Wallen, CPA has joined Ohio Mutual as Assistant Vice President & Corporate Controller.
“Andrew brings extensive experience in the financial services sector, with key senior roles in the banking and insurance industries. Ohio Mutual will benefit greatly from Andrew’s broad background and experience,” said Russell. “We conducted a national search for this position and are very pleased that Andrew has joined our senior team.”

Wallen served 15 years at Nationwide Insurance in a variety of accounting and financial reporting roles – including a term as Associate VP, Finance Shared Service Center and Leader of Accounting Operations. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President, Controllership Operations Director for Huntington Bank in Columbus, OH.

He is a Certified Public Accountant and earned a BS in Business Administration from Ohio Northern University in Ada, OH, and a Master of Science in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame in Notre Dame, IN.

In his personal time, Andrew is a wood worker, sports enthusiast and musician. He and his wife Christine enjoy spending time with their teenage sons (Connor and Brady) and supporting them in their many activities, including band, hockey and volleyball.
